Description
The Edwards 2412, Two Zone Fire
Alarm Control Panel is designed for
use in buildings that require a super-
vised one or two zone fire alarm sys-
tem.
The microprocessor based 2412 is de-
signed for surface or flush mounting.
For normal operation the panel re-
quires batteries for standby power.
Batteries are charged by the panel's
built-in battery charger. See Fire
Alarm Control Panel Components,
page 12-11, for additional informa-
tion. The panel has three expansion
slots to accommodate optional equip-
ment. See System Design Criteria on
page 12-51.

assign a separate zone for supervi-
sory devices.
• Two 2-wire Class B power limited
signal circuits support:
Continuous, 120 ppm, temporal
(3,3,3), California continuous (10 sec
on, 5 sec off), and California march
time (10 sec @ 120 ppm, 5 sec off)
• Signal power: 2.5 amps/circuit, 4.0
amps for panel
